A small field guide
Start blank or explore “Lanterns on the lily pond”, an original four-bar sketch. Choose a layer, place notes, and use the bar arrows to build your loop. Drum rows are kick, snare and hat. Selected notes use the length and velocity controls; Delete removes them. The octave menu reveals lower or higher notes.
Edits stop playback; press Play to hear the updated loop. Mute silences a layer; Solo isolates one or more layers. Bounce produces one exact loop as 44.1 kHz, 16-bit mono WAV, without a trailing tail. Peaks above the headroom target are reduced automatically. Browser storage can be cleared: export project files for lasting backups.
This first little studio has up to eight layers and eight bars. Arrangement timelines, MIDI, recording, effects, stereo mixing, drag editing and a metronome are future work.
